For me there is no place like a garden, surrounded by foliage and flowers, to sooth your soul and heal your mind. I am always calm and happier when in a garden, especially my own!
30 years of my life has been devoted to a career in medicine which has been both challenging and rewarding, in equal measure. Fairly recently I decided I needed to have something else in my life, aside from medicine, to give me joy and escape from the stresses of my job. Having always had a keen interest and a knack for gardening, since I was a small child, it was a natural path for me to take, so I started with online courses and improving my knowledge base. I helped some friends with projects, and as other friends saw my work, I found myself getting involved in their projects and realised that I had a natural talent for design, not just planting.
Seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when their project has been delivered is incredibly rewarding. The sheer magnificence of creating an idea, that can bring a space to life, is truly a joyful process.
